Two ways to bring your kitten home
Whether you'd love to make the trip yourself or prefer that I handle the miles, here's what to consider.
You Fly to Aub's
Visit Kansas City, meet me and personally accompany your kitten home. Driving is also an option if you're close enough.
- Meet your kitten's breeder in person and begin bonding on the journey home.
- Choose your own flights, driving route and travel schedule.
- Avoid the personal delivery fee. Depending on your expenses, your own trip may cost less.
- Make a little Kansas City getaway out of it, if you'd like.
- Round-trip airfare, fuel, hotel, airline pet fees and time away from work or family.
- You'll be responsible for your kitten's care during the journey home and any airline pet requirements.
- If your kitten catches a cold or needs longer to recover from spay or neuter surgery, you may need to rebook flights or rearrange time off.
Aub's Flies to You
I'll personally accompany your kitten in the aircraft cabin and meet you at our agreed airport near your home.
- Your kitten travels with the person who raised them, not an unfamiliar flight escort.
- They already know my voice, scent, handling and daily routines.
- I know their individual personality and what their normal behavior looks like.
- You can avoid arranging your own round-trip trip, time off work and extra household or childcare plans.
- If your kitten needs to stay longer for a cold or surgical recovery, I can adjust my own travel arrangements rather than asking you to reorganize your trip.
- Direct handoff from me to you avoids an additional transport-company handoff and unnecessary contacts.
- Personal delivery starts at $1,200 for a standard single-kitten trip. Your final quote depends on travel arrangements.
- We still need a mutually suitable date, available flights and an agreed airport meeting.
- Rebooking may affect flight availability or airfare, even when I handle the scheduling.
The difference a familiar caregiver makes
I'm not meeting your kitten at the airport for the first time. I've raised them and know their individual needs. That familiarity may be reassuring during a new experience like flying.
A Familiar Voice
Your kitten has spent weeks hearing my voice and getting used to how I handle them.
Someone Who Knows Them
I know their everyday behavior, routines and personality, so I can notice when they need extra attention.
Personal Care Throughout
I accompany them in the cabin and remain responsible for their care until our agreed handoff.
Fewer Extra Handoffs
Traveling directly with me avoids introducing an additional unfamiliar escort. Fewer extra contacts may reduce opportunities for illness exposure, although no trip is risk-free.
What if your kitten needs a little more time?
Sometimes a kitten catches a cold, needs extra time to recover after a spay or neuter, or simply isn't ready to travel on the original date. Their health always comes first.
When I'm handling delivery, it's generally easier for me to rearrange my flight than for you to request more time off work, reschedule your trip, change hotels or reorganize childcare. We'll choose a new date when your kitten is ready. Flight availability and fare changes still apply.
Kitten ready first.

What your delivery includes
- Personal accompaniment by Aubs Maine Coons, the breeder who raised your kitten, providing a more comfortable, less stressful journey with someone your kitten already knows and trusts. Travel updates are provided along the way.
- Round-trip airfare, airline pet fees, and your kitten’s vaccination records and veterinary health certificate.
- Familiar, caring and attentive care throughout the journey until I personally hand your kitten over to you.
- A new airline-approved carrier for you to keep.
- Personal delivery directly to you at your selected airport.
- Optional delivery to a safe, agreed-upon public meeting location within one hour of your destination airport. Includes a rental car, fuel and additional travel time.
- Estimated airfare and related expenses for an additional accompanying traveler.
- Estimated overnight accommodation expenses.
Our starting price covers much more than airfare. Your kitten travels personally with me, the breeder who raised them and has already developed a bond with them. My familiarity with your kitten's personality, behavior, and needs allows me to help minimize travel-related stress, recognize signs of distress, and respond appropriately if an unexpected situation or emergency arises. The price also includes my dedicated time, round-trip airfare, airline pet fees, your kitten's health certificate, childcare arrangements, and other travel-related expenses.
Overnight trips include additional time, hotel accommodations, and travel-related expenses. Optional meetings within one hour of the destination airport include a rental vehicle, fuel, and additional travel time. Meetings must take place at a safe public location agreed upon in advance. Home delivery is not offered.
Final pricing depends on actual airfare, rental costs, and travel arrangements.
