The Options:
  • I offer two waitlist options for you to choose from!

    1. Free Waitlist

    Complete a kitten application, and once your application is approved, you will be eligible to reserve an available kitten through the free waitlist.

    Families on the paid priority waitlist will always select first. After paid waitlist selections are complete, any remaining available kittens may be announced through my website, social media pages, and/or email.

    The free waitlist is not first come, first served, and there is no specific picking order based on when your application was approved. Being approved simply means that your application has been reviewed and accepted and you are eligible to reserve an available kitten.

    Families on the free waitlist are responsible for following my social media pages, watching for kitten announcements and availability, and reaching out to me when they are interested in an available kitten. I do not individually track or contact each family when kittens become available.

    2. Paid Priority Waitlist

    Complete a kitten application, and once your application is approved, you may place a deposit to join the paid priority waitlist. Families on the paid waitlist receive priority selection before kittens are offered to the free waitlist or general public.

    Joining the paid waitlist does not include individual updates regarding pairings, pregnancy confirmations, expected due dates, births, or every kitten born. Families are still responsible for following my social media pages and staying up to date with the cattery.

    I typically post newborn announcements on social media and begin sharing individual kitten photos and information when kittens are approximately 4–5 weeks old. Before paid waitlist selections begin, I will also post an announcement on social media.

    Paid waitlist families are responsible for staying in contact with me, following litter and kitten announcements, and letting me know which litters or kittens they may be interested in. If I have not heard from you at all since the birth of a litter and there has been no communication regarding that litter, I will assume you are not interested at that time.

    Due to time constraints, I am unable to individually contact every paid waitlist family about each litter or kitten. The benefit of the paid priority waitlist is that you receive first-pick priority before the free waitlist, as long as you are staying in contact with me regarding the kittens you are interested in.

    Families on the paid waitlist select their kittens in the order deposits are received, generally beginning when the kittens are approximately 6 weeks old. Your waitlist deposit is applied toward the final purchase price of your kitten.

    If you choose to leave the paid waitlist before selecting a kitten, your waitlist deposit will be refunded minus a $100 administrative fee, provided you have not already reserved a kitten. Please read the section below for complete details regarding the paid waitlist.

  • Waitlist & Kitten Selection Process

    Aub’s Maine Coons waitlist operates on a first waitlist deposit, first-choice basis, meaning kitten selection priority is determined by the order in which waitlist deposits are received. Waitlist priority may be given first to returning kitten buyers who purchased a kitten within the past 2 years when submitting their waitlist agreement and deposit.

    Joining the waitlist gives you priority access to reserve kittens before they are made publicly available. Please note that joining the waitlist does not guarantee a specific kitten, sex, color, eye color, polydactyl status, or litter size, as nature ultimately determines these factors.

    Waitlist Deposits

    • A waitlist deposit is required to join the priority waitlist.

    • All waitlist deposits are refundable minus $100. The non-refundable $100 covers administrative time, communication, preference updates, personalized kitten offers, and recordkeeping associated with managing the waitlist.

    • If Aub’s Maine Coons ceases breeding Maine Coon kittens before you receive a kitten under the terms of this agreement, your waitlist deposit (minus the $100 administrative fee) will be returned.

    • Preferred payment methods for waitlist deposits are Zelle, Apple Pay, or cash.

    • Your waitlist deposit and reservation deposit will both be applied toward the final purchase price of your kitten.

    Kitten Selection Process

    • Kittens are typically available for reservation around 6–8 weeks of age, once their personalities, health, and overall development are better established.

    • Kitten selection priority is based on waitlist order and prior communication regarding your interests and preferences.

    • Aub’s Maine Coons posts kittens from birth, and it is your responsibility to actively follow available kittens and upcoming litters. If you are interested in a particular kitten, you are expected to communicate that interest before reservations open.

    • While reasonable efforts may be made to send updates and kitten offers, it is ultimately your responsibility to remain engaged and in regular communication. Aub’s Maine Coons is not responsible for repeatedly contacting buyers who have not shown active interest or communicated their preferences.

    • If you decline a kitten or litter, you will maintain your place on the waitlist for future available kittens, subject to the terms of your selected waitlist option.

    Reserving a Kitten

    • To officially reserve a kitten, you must sign the kitten contract and submit the required reservation deposit.

    • The reservation deposit is $1,000 per kitten for both pet and breeding placements, unless otherwise stated.

    • Reservation deposits are applied toward the final purchase price of your kitten.

    • Final balances are due according to the terms outlined in your signed kitten contract and must be paid before or at pickup unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

    Additional Important Notes

    • Please ensure you are fully prepared for the long-term responsibility of owning a Maine Coon, including veterinary care, food, grooming, enrichment, and ongoing expenses.

    • I reserve the right to keep any kitten for my own breeding program.

    • I also reserve the right to refuse placement of a kitten to anyone for any reason, paid in full or not. A refund will be provided if I determine a person or situation to be unsuitable, untrustworthy, or concerning.

    • Nature cannot be controlled, and unfortunately not every kitten survives. I also cannot control the sex, color, markings, eye color, or litter size of any pairing.

PAID WAITLIST

This is the paid waitlist for approved pet families a REGISTERED CATTERIES who wish to get a kitten.

A good majority of those on the waitlist have already picked a kitten and wished to stay on or are waiting for a very specific kitten/pairing. Those on the bottom of the list usually are the ones actively looking.

The reservation fee for a pet kitten is $1000. The remaining amount due is cash only at the time of pickup.

Did you know that TICA standards for a cat with blue eyes is that the cat has to either be white or with white? I will only breed blue eyed cats that are either all white or with white! Blue eyed kitten's are possible with matings where 1 parent is all white.
