The Options:
  • I offer two type’s of waitlist options for you to choose from!

    1) Fill out a breeder/pet kitten application and once your application is approved, you will automatically be put on the free waitlist. You will be notified via email when a litter is ready to reserve after those on the paid waitlist pick their kitten. Please follow along with updates on the social media platforms about pregnancy, birth and reservation announcements. There is no specific order that is followed based on application date for the pick of a kitten, but you will see your name on the free waitlist section. If you wish to be taken off of the free waitlist and no longer receive reservation announcement emails, just shoot me a message.

    2) Fill out a breeder/pet application and once your application is approved, you can pay a deposit to get on the paid waitlist. You will be notified via text, messenger or email (based on your preference of communication) when a mating occurs, pregnancy is confirmed, when the due date is, when the kitten’s are born, as they grow the first month, and you will be the first to get to pick when the kitten’s are ready to reserve around 6 weeks of age. The order in which you get to pick is based on when you made the deposit. The deposit goes towards the final amount due. If you wish to be taken off of the list and no longer receive notifications about new litters, you will be given the waitlist fee back minus $100 as long as you haven’t gotten a kitten yet. Please read the section below for further information!

Paid Waitlist Information

The details:
  • After many requests, I am excited to be opening up the opportunity for those who are interested in a kitten from my cattery to join a waitlist!! We have some amazing plans for this upcoming fall/winter/spring and this will help ensure you can have a better chance at getting your new furry family member.

    For Starters:
    Here is some information about the waitlist and how it will work:

    • Those on the waitlist always get the first opportunity to reserve a kitten in the order they joined. You will be notified via text, messenger or email (based on your preference of communication) when a mating occurs, pregnancy is confirmed, when the due date is, when the kitten’s are born, as they grow the first month, and you be the first to get to pick when the kitten’s are ready to reserve around 6 weeks of age.

    • You can be on the waitlist for as long as you would like to be while waiting for the kitten. This means you can pass as many times as you choose to do so.

    • If you get on the breeders waitlist, you get first priority over those who are getting a pet. Since the primary goal of breeding is to advance the Maine Coon breed, breeders have the first pick of all kittens. With that being said, to give pet families a fair chance we will limit the number of kitten’s that can go to breeders from each litter. That number will be determined based on litter size and will be announced when the kitten’s become available. Those on the waitlist for a pet kitten will be able to choose their kitten after the breeders on our Breeding Waitlist have made their selections. Breeders must join the Breeding Waitlist before the litter is born to receive priority picking. Although breeders get priority, they still select in the order they joined the Breeding Waitlist.

    • If you are a repeat buyer, good news!! If you decide that you want a 2nd kitten from me and you rejoin the waitlist within 2 year of getting your kitten, you can be placed back in your original spot in line based on your initial join date. This allows your kittens to grow up together around the same age. Once the breeder and repeat buyers waitlist has been combed thru I will move onto the other waitlists.

    • Because there are various waitlist options, you can add on the 2nd Option fee to be put onto another waitlist of your choice. This works good if you really want a specific color but really want blue/odd eyes too.

    • You can change your waitlist option choice, but it MUST be done before the litter is born. If there is a kitten that is born that you are interested in but you didn’t originally choose that specific waitlist, you can still choose the kitten if it is available after those on that specific waitlist pick first.


    Waitlist Options:
    We will have different waitlist options that you can choose from to join. Those options will be the following:

    1. Breeders
    2. Returning Families
    3. Red
    4. Other colors (black, blue, silver, tortie, torbie and/or the smoke variations of each color)
    5. High silver (pale)/shaded/shell
    6. Blue/Odd Eyes

    The Fee and Information To Join:
    The following fee is what it will cost to join the waitlist:

    • Pets: $250 fee
    • Breeders: $350 fee
    • Siblings: $500 fee
    • 2nd Option: Additional $100 fee

    I have a Waitlist Deposit Agreement that both parties will sign at the time payment is made to get on the waitlist. For payment, I only accept Zelle or cash for waitlist deposits. Venmo is considered if you use the family and friends option. Before you can even pay to get on the waitlist, you must fill out an application to get on the approved families/breeders list. Once your application is approved and the fee is paid, you will be added to the list. The fee will go towards the final price of the kitten. If you wish to be taken off of the list you will be given the waitlist fee back minus $100. The $100 is non-refundable to cover my time to update preferences/answer questions, send various updates that those on the waitlist don’t get, offer you kittens, and keep record of any and all communications and updates.


    When it comes time to choose a kitten:
    The following information is what the process will be when it is time to choose a kitten:

    • When the kittens are around 6 weeks old, I will go through my waitlist in the order that the waitlist fee was paid. Please be ready to place a reservation deposit and sign a contract on the kitten at this time to secure your kitten. Remember, both your waitlist fee and reservation deposit will be applied to the final price of your kitten.

    • Please respond within 2 hours so I can move through the list efficiently. You can respond with a “reserve” or “pass”. “Reserve” means you want to reserve a kitten. “Pass” means that you pass and will wait for a future litter.

    • If I do not receive a response within 2 hours, I will move to the next person on the list. To ensure you do not miss your opportunity, please pay attention to when the kittens will be made available to reserve and please specify your preferred method of communication for kitten offers. Prompt replies are appreciated to maintain a smooth process for everyone that is waiting for a kitten.

    • To reserve a kitten, you must sign a contract and place a reservation deposit on the kitten, which is $1000 for a pet kitten and $1500 for a breeding kitten. You can check out our kitten prices here. This deposit, in addition to the waitlist fee, will count towards the kitten's total price.

    • You have 24 hours to fill out and email back the signed contract and another 24 hours after the contract is sent to make the reservation deposit. If I have not received the contract or reservation deposit within that time frame, I will move to the next person on the list.

    • If you pass on a litter, you will still keep your place in line. If you pass, I will move to the next person until all kittens are reserved. For the next available litter I will start back at the top of the list and work my way down.

    • If I contact you and do not get a response after three attempts, you will move you to my archived waitlist where you will not be contacted again unless you reach out. If you reach out and state that you wish to still be on the list, I will add you back in the place that you were originally at. If I contact you and for a 2nd time, and after 3 attempts I get no response back, you will be placed back on the archived waitlist. If you reach out again and state that you still want to be on the waitlist, you will be put back on but you will move down 2 spots. The process will repeat for each time that you get placed on the archived waitlist and then added back on. If you wish to avoid being placed on the archived waitlist and moving down spots, please make sure that you communicate with a quick reply back of “reserve” or “pass”. If you wish to be taken off of the list, you will receive half of the waitlist fee back. The other half is non-refundable.


    Additional Important notes:

    • Our waiting list is new and expected to grow quickly, so don't miss your chance to join before it gets long! Please make sure you're 100% committed to purchasing a Maine Coon kitten from Aubs Maine Coons. Please also be sure you're ready for the responsibility of owning a new kitten, including vet bills, food costs, and the daily care of your new fur baby for many years. And when the time comes to purchase pick a Maine Coon kitten please be sure you are ready to fill out the contract and make the deposit. If you're prepared, this opportunity might be for you!

    • I reserve the right to keep any kitten for my own breeding program.

    • I also reserve the right to refuse a kitten to anyone for any reason, paid in full or not. A refund will be provided if I deem any person or situation unsuitable, untrustworthy, or if I feel uneasy.

    • Nature can’t be controlled and sometimes kitten’s don’t make it. Which is why I don’t open reservations until 6 weeks old. So much can happen in that first month of life. I also cannot control the sex, color, or litter size of each pairing.

This list receives an email when a litter is ready to reserve after the paid wastlist has picked their kitten.
The pick of kitten is not based on any order for this list, it simply just means they have been approved
and receive notifications when reservations are ready.

This is the paid waitlist for APPROVED REGISTERED CATTERIES who wish to get a breeding kitten.

The reservation fee is $1500 for breeding rights. The remaining amount due is cash only at the time of pickup.

Did you know? There are many benefits to having two cats instead of one, including companionship, mental stimulation, and activity. Cats are social animals that can become bored and lonely when left alone for long periods of time, which can lead to behavioral issues. Having a feline companion can help alleviate boredom, anxiety, and behavior concerns. Cats that have a playmate tend to be more socially well-adjusted and avoid behavior problems like shyness, biting, hissing, being frightened, and hiding. Two cats can keep each other active and mentally stimulated, and they can also help groom one another. In addition, cats who live together typically continue playing with each other and live an active lifestyle, even as they age. This can help reduce the risk of either becoming overweight, so they'll be healthier and may live longer.

RED (Orange) PAID WAITLIST

This is the paid waitlist for families who want to get a red (orange) kitten. This does not include smokes, high silver or shaded.

Did you know that female red cats are less common than male red cats, with only about 20% of red cats being female?! This is because the gene that causes orange fur is sex-linked and located on the X chromosome. Females have two X chromosomes and need two copies of the gene to be ginger, while males only need one.

This is the paid waitlist for families who want to get a kitten that is the following colors:
Black, blue, silver, tortie, torbie and/or the smoke variations of each color. This does not include high silver or shaded.

This is the paid waitlist for families who want to get a kitten that is a high silver (pale), shaded or shell.

High Silver, Shaded and Shell cats are in even more high demand than smokes! They are also more expensive due the high demand and the rarity of them. See the image below for an example of how to tell the difference between silver, smoke, shaded or shell! I plan on breeding for pale/shaded/shell in Spring of 2025!!

This is the paid waitlist for families who want to get a kitten that has blue or odd eyes!
The List:

Did you know that TICA standards for a cat with blue eyes is that the cat has to either be white or with white? I will only breed blue eyed cats that are either all white or with white! Blue eyed kitten's are possible with matings where 1 parent is all white. I also plan on mating a future Tortie Queen that has the Blue Eyed Gene in Spring of 2025.
